This is an interview I conducted with Council member Dan Garodnick. I recorded this interview in January of 2008, so it is an old interview. The Council member discusses his early life, and how he got involved in politics, and what the issues of the day were at that time.

I had the opportunity to interview Attorney Luis Sepulveda, who is running for New York State Assembly in the 76Th District. The current Assembly member in the District is Peter Rivera. We discussed the reasons why he should be in elected office instead of the incumbent, and the issues that affect the people in the district.

I had the opportunity to interview Dr. Una Clarke. We discussed women's rights. The Caribbean American community and their political development. Her early support of Council member Matthew Eugene, Mayoral control of schools, and her work as a political consultant.

I had the opportunity to interview Liliana Zulunova, who is running for New York State Assembly against Andrew Hevesi in the 28Th district. We discussed her background, her experience, and the reasons why she decided to challenge Assembly member Hevesi.

I had the opportunity to interview Assemblyman Adriano Espaillat. We discussed a possible run for State Senate, or Congress. The political development of the Dominican community, and Latinos in general. His thoughts on Steve Levy's run for Governor. The race for State Senate in the 13Th District, and whether the Obama administration has done enough on behalf of Latinos.

I had the opportunity to interview Political Reporter, and analyst Jay DeDapper. We discussed the Obama administration's push for health care reform. Governor Paterson's recent troubles, the State Senate race in the 13Th District, and a host of other things. Take a listen.
