Hello everyone, this is an interview I conducted with Assemblyman Jose R. Peralta. The Assemblyman is running for State Senate in the 13th Senatorial District. The current State Senator in the district is Hiram Monserrate. We discussed domestic violence, the endorsements he has received from community groups and labor unions. We talked about his support from other Latino elected officials, and the support he has received from the elected officials in the areas that surround the district, and woman's groups. His thoughts on the Senate coup the budget in Albany and why he is the best candidate for the people in the 13th Senatorial district. His interactions with Senator Monserrate, a conversation with Fernando Ferrer and a host of other things take a listen.

This is an interview I conducted with Tom Folsom who co-authored the book "Mr. Untouchable" which is based on "The Rise Fall, and Resurrection of Heroins Teflon Don" Harlem Gangster Leroy "Nicky" Barnes. This is an interview I conducted with Herb Boyd, author and journalist. His articles have appeared in such publications as the Amsterdam News and Essence Magazine. He is the author of We Shall Overcome: The History of the Civil Rights Movement As It Happened and Race and Resistance: African Americans in the 21st Century, The Harlem Reader and Sugar in Harlem, a biography of Sugar Ray Robinson. We had an opportunity to discuss life in his hometown of Detroit during the height of the Civil Rights movement, Motown, and his experiences as a student activist in Wayne State University.

I had the pleasure of interviewing CWA 1180 President Arthur Cheliotes. We discussed the results of the elections, and the state of the labor movement, and the implications of the election day results on the Obama administration.
